In 1851 he is with his parents, brother Charles and sister Ann at Reads Farm, Loddiswell. In 1861 he is an assistant master at Weston Grove School, Weston , Somerset. In 1871 he is in Loddiswell, lodging with brother Charles and his sister-in-law Marianna at Reads. He is curate of Loddiswell, next door are Joel and Grace Willing. These are two farming families. In 1881 he is a boarder at Cambridge House, Hanwick Road Worcester, where he is a clerk in holy orders. In 1891 at North Hill, Launceston. He was Rector of North Hill for 23 years. In 1901 Theophilus and Agnes are at North Hill, with Moreton and Agnes Oliva. Two children - Gladys and Olga Graham White, 11 and 5, are boarding with the family, and they have two servants living in.
In 1911 widow Agnes is with daughter, Agnes Oliva, at 22 Grange Road, Runcorn Cheshire.On 23rd October 1912 she and daughter Agnes sail to Philadelphia on board the SS Merion, from Liverpool.On 2 June 1914 they arrive back in at Southampton on board the SS New York, from New York.
