Witnesses to the marriage were Seraphin Hooker and George Bennett. Both parties were recorded as of the Parish of All Hallows on the Walls.9

Note on Child 1: Edwin Hooker Boddy
In 1841 Edwin is at Agnes Street, Lambeth with Rebecca. In 1851 at 3 Manor Street, Poplar, with Rebecca and daughter Elizabeth. In 1861 with Rebecca and 15 year old Elizabeth he is at 3 Tysons Yard, St Olave, Southwark. In 1871 Edwin, Rebecca, Elizabeth and a servant Eliza Stuart are at 13 Devonshire Terrace, Lewisham. Edwin is described as Managing Clerk, Law. Transcribed as Boody in Ancestry and FindMyPast.In 1881 still at 13 Devonshire Terace Edwin is with daughter Elizabeth, unmarried. They have one servant. There is a visitor - 29 year old Fanny P Bradford, from Crediton. She is Edwin's niece, daughter of his sister Eliza.

In 1841 brother and sisters Frederick, Eliza and Fanny are living in Bowden Hill together.
In 1851 Frederick is a lodger with John and Mary Coombs at Pymore Lane, Bradpole, Dorset.
In 1861 Frederick is living alone at Pymore Road, Bradpole, Dorset.
In 1871 he is at Dottrey, Loders, Dorset.
In 1881 he is at North Allington, Dorset.
Throughout his life he is described as a flax heckler, or flax dresser - basically the same occupation.
Note on Child 5: Eliza Boddy
In 1841 brother and sisters Frederick, Eliza and Fanny are living in Bowden Hill together.
In 1871 Eliza is widowed, and living with children (William) Richard, Mary and Edith, and unmarried sister Ann in Parliament Street.
In 1881 Eliza is with son Richard, and sister Ann, by now at 13 High Street Crediton.
In 1891 Eliza is living with daughter Emily and her husband in Cowick Street, Exeter
Note on Child 6: Frances Boddy
In 1841 brother and sisters Frederick, Eliza and Fanny are living in Bowden Hill together. It seems likely that in 1851 Frances is a servant for William Wilson, at 31 Mount Street, Mayfair, a Queens Messenger at the Home Office. Her name is recorded as Rodely, which may be the enumerator's misreading of Rodely.
In 1861 Frances is with husband George Palmer at 2 Portobello Terrace, Kensington.
Note on Child 7: Ann Boddy
In 1851 and 1861 Ann is unmarried and at home. In 1881 Ann is boarding with her widowed sister, Eliza Bradford.
