In 1891 James and Bessie are at Copper Oak, Sandford, with William, Ernest, Florence and Edith. In 1901 he is at Lily Brook, Sandford, with second wife Mary Ann Fursdon, and stepson Charles, as well as their daughter Mabel. In 1911 they are still at Liliy Brook, with his stepson Charles, and her step son Ernest.
