Note on Marriage
The wedding is witnessed by An Bray and William King. An Ann Bray is living in Higher Street Brixham at the time of the 1841 census, a few doors from Louisa's parents, John and Elizabeth Leach. There is reference in the IGI to a wedding between a James Bray and a Mary Cornish - perhaps these families were close.

In 1871 Robert is staying with older brother John and his family at Ottery St Mary.
Note on Child 6: Henry Cornish
In 1871 Henry is at a school at Fairfield House, Cowick Street, Exeter In 1881 Henry Cornish is visiting John Hector, his future brother-in-law.By 1885 Henry and Amelia have taken over the photographic business at 40 High Street, Crediton. Henry is listed in 1897 Kelly's Directory as a phptpgrapher.
