Note on Wife: Elizabeth Kendrick Bradford
On 25 September 1912 Elizabeth sailed on the Majestic for New York, arriving on 4th October. Whilst in the US she worked in service at the White House during the presidency of Theodore Roosevelt. She returned to England in 1916 to marry Thomas Jones. On leaving the White House she was presented with a gold ladies pocket watch, which became her most treasured possession. It is in the family still.
