In 1824 at age 11 3/4 Robert is apprenticed to Thomas Cobley, Yeoman for Butsford.

At 1851 Census Robert and Mary Ann are living at no 26 Weirfield Place, St Leonards Exeter

In 1841 John is a servant at the Royal Hotel, Crockernwell. He works at Motion Farm Broadclyst,in 1851. In 1861 he is there still, described as unmarried, but living with Ann Fey of Rewe who is also unmarried.By 1881 is living with wife at Coach and Horses Inn, Clyst Honiton, and 1891 Rews Cottage St Thomas

In 1830 George, like his brother Robert before him, is apprenticed to Thomas Cobley, Yeoman .In 1841 at Brandirons, with baby John.
