Note on Husband: John CROCKER

John and Mary (nee Giles) Crocker were a farming family from Stroude, near Ermington, Devon. They came to Hobart VDL with their seven children aboard the Mary Anne in 1829.

The Crocker daughters married in Tasmania and settled there. The father, John, went to New Zealand with three of the sons, and he died there at Richmond.The mother, Mary, died at Georgetown in Tasmania.
