Nicholas leaves most of his property to his nephew Charles Hugh Harris Pitts, and some to his nephew Arthur Edward Seaton.His son Nicholas William Harris Pitts gets his great uncle's organ.
According to his great nephew Peter Pitts, Nicholas lost a lot of money due to investment in Germany before the First World War.By the time the estate was sold and death duty paid there was little left.
