From 1861 to 1891 the family was at 1 and 3 Paul Street, Tiverton. John Venn was working for them.

 

By 1901 widowed John had retired to Dawlish, at no 2 Longlands Terrace. Unmarried sister Elizabeth was living with him, and his daughter Caroline.

 

Granddaughter Winifred Voysey seemed to be staying with him too.
