In 1871 at Kensington. In 1881 John and the family were at 76 Tower Street, Southwark.
In 1891 Elizabeth was living at 32 Tower street, Southwark. Her mother and son Augustus and daughter Ellen were living with her.
Her mother was recorded as Moon. In the 1851 census she was recorded as Leious, as is an eleven year old daughter living with her, and her occupation given as Laundress. Perhaps this confusion of surnames and the occupation suggest that Elizabeth's mother made her living in an age-old fashion.
