In 1891 James and Bessie were at Copper Oak, Sandford, with William, Ernest, Florence and Edith. In 1901 he was at Lily Brook, Sandford, with second wife Mary Ann Fursdon, and stepson Charles, as well as their daughter Mabel. In 1911 they were still at Liliy Brook, with his stepson Charles, and her step son Ernest.

Note on Wife: Mary Ann FURSDON

In 1881 Mary Ann Fursdon was an unmarried woman living with her mother at East Village. She married James Spear 13 years later.

 

In 1939 a Mary Ann Fursdon was living at Copper Oak Sandford with a Charles. Is this mother and son?4
