Emigrated to Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1888, arriving 29 April . In 1901 the family were living in Hochelaga, Saint-Gabriel Ward, Montreal, Quebec. On the Ancestry Family Tree of Shirley Wilfong Pritchard she suggests that the trip to Canada was a honeymoon, and Susannah was so ill on the trip over that she couldn't face the journey home so they stayed.
