Wiltshire Times and Trowbridge Advertiser 18 June 1881
18 Mar 1882: Notice of the liquidation of Samuel Bragge, schoolmaster, appeared in the Western Daily Press

A DISPUTED BROTHER
BRAGG v. BRAGG – In this case Mr. Symes appeared for the plaintiff, William Bragg, and said his client, a wheelwright, of New Buildings, Sandford, sued his brother, Samuel Bragg, a schoolmaster, now of Weymouth, for the payment of £20 5s 4d. This sum was for goods sold and delivered and for labour. The original debtor was another brother, Elias Bragg, since dead. The action was brought against Samuel Bragg, the administrator. There was a real estate, Elias Bragg having owned a small cottage, which produced a rental of about 1s a week, from the occupier of which there were arrears of rent due. – Plaintiff proved the debt and the defendant did not appear. – A person named Richard Bragg, who was in court, said plaintiff was no brother to the deceased, and he was trying to get a property which was worth £40 to settle an alleged debt of £20. – This individual instructed Mr. Searle to defend the case, and eventually a common administration order was made in the matter.
