GIRL MISSING ON CITY SHIP
Miss Faith Wilson, Victoria,
Boarded Vessel, But Disappeared
MAY BE ASHORE
Provincial police are investigating the disappearance of Miss Faith Stella D. Wilson, aged 27, of 2239 Oak Bay Avenue, Victoria, who has not been seen since Friday morning when she boarded SS Princess Alice in Vancouver.
According to police the young woman arranged to take the boat from here to either Victoria or Seattle and engaged a stateroom. She was seen to leave the ship before sailing time, however, and it is not definitely established that she returned to the vessel. Her bag , containing some letters, but no clothing, was found in the stateroom.
Miss Wilson was a poplar Victoria pianist and member of the "Troubadours". She returned recently from a trip to England.
Her disappearance was reported on the arrival of the Princess Alice today from Seattle.
Miss Wilson occupied a flat in the home of Major and Mrs. W. Taylor in Victoria.
The provincial police are continuing investigations at Victoria, where the ship docked after leaving here at 10.30 this morning.

Missing Victoria Girl Came

No change was reported this morning from the General Hospital this morning in the condition of Miss Faith Stella Wilson, 27-year-old Victoria pianist, who turned up at the hospital 11.15am, Monday and announced "I am lost". She had been missing since Friday morning when she left SS Princess Alice in Victoria after booking passage from there to Seattle.
The young woman, it is reported, is suffering from loss of memory, and refuses to talk.
Provincial police sent a full report of the case to Victoria on Monday. Some personal effects of Mis Wilson were forwarded for identification.
Mrs R. E. Greenslade of Victoria, aunt of the girl, arrived in Vancouver this morning and identified Miss Wilson at the hospital.
Mis Wilson was in a dazed condition, and could not give any account of her actions since Friday, Mrs Greenslade said.
" I am greatly relieved to know she is safe, and will take her home just as soon as she is able to travel," Mrs Greenslade stated.
"Miss Wilson was worrying over personal matters for the last few days, and was not responsible for her actions Friday night when she boarded the Vancouver boat instead of the one for Seattle."

FIND MISSING
B.C. MUSICIAN
IN HOSPITAL
VANCOUVER, May 1 - Discovery of Miss Faith Stella Wilson, said to be suffering from a nervous breakdown in the Vancouver General hospital, Monday night, had solved the mysterious disappearance of one of two missing Victoria concert musicians who vanished on different occasions recently after booking the identical stateroom aboard S.S. Princess Alice en route from Victoria to Seattle.
The 27-year-old pianist was located Monday by British Columbia provincial police who had searched for her since Saturday. Miss Wilson was unreported in Seattle that morning although she had booked " stateroom 142" from Victoria the previous evening and some of her belongings were found in the room. It was believed she had left the vessel shortly before it sailed and had not returned.
Late in February Miss Irene Bick, talented Victoria violinist, engaged "stateroom 142" on S.S. Princess Alice and was believed to have left Victoria aboard the vessel for Seattle. Next day, however, she was unreported by immigration authorities in the American city. A widespread search has been conducted since without revealing a trace of the 28-year-old musician.
