Will was a self-made man, and retired wealthy in his mid-forties, perhaps to Teignmouth. Shops in Crediton, Heavitree and Tiverton, perhaps Teignmouth? Maybe retired to Teignmouth? In 1944-1948 he was living at 13 East Avenue, Regents Park, Heavitree, Exeter. By 1952 he had moved to 28 Castlemaine Avenue, Southbourne, Dorset, where he was to marry his second wife Mabel and live for many years.
