In 1871, and 1881 Mary is Housemaid to George and Grace Tucker, - retd. woollen draper at Walnut House, St Davids, Exeter (and then 39 St Davids Hill - or is it the same house?
In 1881 Bessy Heard, her niece is aso working there.
In 1891she is still with the Tucker family at Walnut House - looking after just the spinster daughter Louise.
In 1901 she is a 74 year old boarder living on her own means at 10-11 Lower North street, Exeter
In 1911 she seems to be living with 63 year-old widow Emma Shepherd at 29 Landscore. Mary is described as retired cook-domestic.
