EX-HOSPITAL PATIENT TOOK PILL OVERDOSE

 

A Bristol man who suffered from nervous trouble took an overdose of tablets and died, a Bristol inquest heard.

 

Bachelor Mr. Stephen Fey (41), of Cassell Road, Fishponds, wasa found dead in his bed when his mother Mrs. Myra Fey (69) went to wake him for work. She said he had been a patient at Barrow Gurney Hospital for five months when he was 24 and suffered depression from time to time.

 

Coroner Mr. John Seymour Williams recorded a verdict in accordance with medical evidence that he died from soporific poisoning, self-ingested during a fit of acute depression.
