In 1871 Widowed Thomas was at Primrose Hill, Chelmsford. In 1881 he was at 28 Beech Street, St Giles, London.7,8,9,10

In 1891 Elizabeth is at 56 Willow Walk Bermondsey with her family. In 1901 she is at 87 Grange Walk Bermondsey with sons, daughters and grandchildren, who are engaged in leather goods manufacture.5,11
