Lorna Elizabeth Hardwick Woods, "Betty", born 2 May 1901 at Blundeston Hall, was living in her house at Hartley, near Plymouth, Devonshire, in 1984. Husband Eric Raithby Knight's family were successful glue manufacturers in Birmingham, and he became a gentleman farmer, and bred horses at Hinderclay Hall farm, near Diss in Norfolk. Later they moved near Plymouth. He died in Oct.1975 some time . She died 15 Aug.1988, aged 87. She had been in good physical health throughout her old age, and even mowed her lawn two weeks before she died. They had two children. | ||
